Overview

Wiggio is a free collaboration tool, where you and your theme members can:

  • Share, organize and edit files
  • Manage a group calendar
  • Create polls and surveys
  • Post links
  • Set up conference calls
  • Chat online
  • Send group-wide text, voice, video, and email messages

Benefits

  • A theme member can choose to make files accessible to all members, or can choose from a list who should have access. Once a file is uploaded, group members can be excluded from viewing that file simply by de-selecting those individuals from the members’ list. When the member is de-selected, a box appears on the upload form with all the members email addresses that are included to view the file. Once you exclude a member they will not have access to the file.
  • Contacts can be imported or entered manually. Contacts are not group members and will not receive a join notice from Wiggio, but can be included in polls, events, and messages at any time.
  • Each theme member can define and control how they want to keep informed of group activities: by SMS, email, or both.
  • Wiggio stores all files in a private instance on Amazon's Cloud servers. They also store duplicate copies of every file to ensure redundancy. The theme is private for group members and not publicly searchable.

Testing Information

From an email invitation, our tester used a link to Marcell's instruction document, and a link to the alpha site.

The tester:

  • Could join the Wiggio Alpha group easily and received an immediate response from Wiggio. However, the Wiggio site did not catch up quickly to the new joiner, i.e., the Group was not "ready" for her to act on it, so at first the tester thought something was wrong.
  • Was able to complete all actions on the testing instructions within 30 minutes while multi-tasking.
  • Was able to join a Wiggio chatroom with 3 other members.
  • Was able to find all the Wiggio functionality after exploring the "links" and "buttons".

This is the link to the standardized survey.
