Scenario:  John Alexander is an IT Project Manager for a large insurance company‚Äôs IT department supporting IT development and implementation operations in all international projects. Currently the team is responsible to implement the data migration Project from current legacy mainframe systems to the new web-based solution. He would like to use this project as an experimental project for the new collaboration tool for code sharing and their other development needs but his main developers are from Mexico and Europe. John finds that his team spending too much time in trying to collaborate during the design and development process, sometimes they are lost in translation and other times due to the technological constrains.

Since John wants to utilize all his local and international resources in the most efficient way, he wants to build a secure collaboration tool for his development teams will the bells and whistles with change management.

Due to the size and complexity of this project, nature of issues and sensitivity of data, they often require team members from two or three different countries, having different cultures and languages, be able to access all the systems in a secured environment while sharing the codes in the design and development process.

He wants the ability for his team to share the codes for design, development and troubleshooting over a high availability and secured network, without worry about any corporate LAN or WAN policies and so they can avoid red tapes for data sharing and software developments issues before trying something new. He would like his entire development team to be able to access both new and old development and test systems as they needed. They should be able to share their flow diagram, visuals and Ideas in a shared database, able to have multiple conference calls, file sharing, chat sessions and have a change management for all their codes.

John found that the team will save 20% of their daily work time if they have a single collaboration tool for all their basic needs. He desperately wants a system that will permit these operations with minimal hassle. He wants a system that will help his teams more easily work together and have ease of communication, flow of data, code sharing, conflict resolution, trouble shooting and change management process.
